Why haven’t I made these before? I’ve always had Bacon Wrapped Cream Cheese Jalapeño Poppers at social gatherings. Usually game day appetizers are perfect for serving to a group of friends gathering around the TV. My game day is usually watching the Golden Globes or the Billboard Music Awards.
So easy to make with just a few ingredients and ready in 15 minutes. Air fry or oven bake.
The Perfect Game Day Appetizer
Jalapeño poppers are always a good call, because everything tastes better wrapped in bacon. That perfect combination of soft cheese with the crispy air fried bacon simply makes this app the perfect bite. Plus it’s a finger food so you don’t have to worry about too many dishes to clean after the party.
Ingredients for Jalapeno Poppers
Bacon – well that’s obvious, isn’t it the best part?
Jalepenos – Goes without saying but you can also make similar apps with other types of peppers
Cream Cheese – Cheese that gets extra soft and creamy when you heat it up, yum!

Step by Step Instructions
I forgot to do this but if you want the bacon to stay in place you should hold the bacon and jalapeños together with a toothpick.
Place each Jalapeño right side up in Air Fryer and cook them at 400 for 15 minutes.
Before removing from the air fryer container, allow a couple minutes for them to slightly cool and set.
I use a 5 qt Air Fryer which allows me to fit 8 jalapeño poppers. Depending on the size of your machine you may have to make them in batches.

Frequently Asked Questions about the Air Fryer Bacon Wrapped Jalapeño Cream Cheese Poppers
Can I make the jalapeno poppers ahead of time and freeze them?
You can make ahead of time and freeze them before cooking the poppers, then pop them in the air fryer when you are ready to enjoy them, straight from the freezer. I would increase the cook time another 5 minutes or so.
What if I don’t have an Air Fryer, can I make them in the oven instead?
Yes. Same time and temp (400 F for 15 minutes)
What if I don’t eat bacon?
Make them without bacon, they are just as tasty. Try wrapping them in some of your favourite deli slices.
