🥘 Ingredient notes
Made with fresh medium ground beef, diced jalapenos, a blend of cheeses, bacon and seasoned with chili powder. The perfect blend of flavours while keeping it low carb and keto friendly.
- Ground beef: I used ground sirloin but you can use any ground beef you prefer
- Cream cheese: for that mild sweet taste and pleasant tang makes this pie feel like a cheesecake. I use a full fat cream cheese.
- Mozzarella: delicate, slightly sour with a milk freshness and all the melty feels
- Cheddar cheese: I used a marble cheddar as that's what I had on hand.
- Jalapenos: have a slight level of heat that doesn't overdo it so you can enjoy all the flavours of this juicy burger.
- Bacon: crispy and chewy, salty and savoury adds that extra yumminess

💭 Frequently asked questions
Jalapenos are moderate to mildly spicy. I can't handle very spicy foods but I find jalapenos mild.
Since the stuffing is seasoned with salt and pepper, plus you have the saltiness from the bacon, it is not necessary to salt the beef other than the chili powder.
These burgers are have only 2g of carbohydrates, so they should fit into the keto or low carb diet. They are also diabetic friendly, made with ingredients low on the glycemic index.
