Carnivore Experiment - Week 8 of 12 has been a really good week. I am feeling so good eating this way and am leaning towards sticking to this long term.

Gym routine was good, meals were amazing but I have felt a little sluggish this week.

    Blood Sugars

My blood sugars have been the same and steady, hovering around 5.5 to 5.9 mmol/l.

    Eating

This week it seemed like I had a lot of lunches out and I relied on quarter pounders with no bun or a butcher burger from Holy Chuck as seen in the pic above.

I also was out for dinner and enjoyed a nice ribeye steak and also had some veggies with my meal. I think I have said this before but I feel so much better cheating on carnivore with veggies, than cheating on keto with sugar.

Simply just seems less harmful by eating a few veggies once in a while and still maintaining my blood sugars.

    Gym Routine

I was a bit sluggish in the gym this week even though I have accomplished all my goals. I just didn't feel like I had the strength that I've had in the past couple of week.

    Pooping

    Nothing to report, all good.

    Weight-loss

The scale did not move this week. Could be a combo of heavy lifting and a few meals in restaurants. I plan to eat clean this coming week and have prepped all my lunches. So hopefully see some movements next week.

I have gained a lot of muscle and feel better in my clothes. I did notice I have gone done a notch on my belt so my waist has trimmed down. My pants fit much looser, not only around my waist but around my butt and legs.

    Other Side Effects

My canker sores from last week have disappeared, so glad that they have as I was getting worried.

Have noticed some leg cramps this week, slacking on the electrolytes so I need to keep an eye on it this week. Other than that, I have noticed anything else.

I will update you next Monday on how week 9 went for me.

Supplements I am using while doing Carnivore are:
