Air Fryer Garlic Bread Grilled Cheese

This recipe has 3 things I love. Air Fryer, Garlic Bread and Grilled Cheese. I had to combine these into a triple threat and make this Air Fryer Low Carb Garlic Bread Grilled Cheese sandwich.

How to make garlic bread grilled cheese?

This Air Fryer Low Carb Garlic Bread Grilled Cheese is super easy to make and only requires a few ingredients.

Garlic which is my favourite ingredient of all time. Like the more the merrier, right? Don't worry the garlic become cooked in the air fryer so it's not as potent as you think. Even though we are adding the raw garlic to the spread, it will become mellowed out once it's cooked.

Butter gives it that golden crispiness that I love on a grilled cheese sandwich. Plus it ads a bit of saltiness and just the righ amount of greasiness, because we all know a good grilled cheese better hit the spot.

Parsley is one of those things that some people love and some people just think it's a garnish. However, once it's cooked into the grilled cheese it ads a clean peppery taste with a touch of earthiness.

Low Carb Bread is abundant lately. There are several different brands out on the market, choose which one works for you and test it out with this recipe. I used Carbonaut Bread I usually pick up at Costo here in Canada.

What else can I add to the grilled cheese?

You can add just about anything to this sandwich. Pepperoni or salami would go really well with this garlic bread grilled cheese sandwich. Possibly a little smear of tomatoe sauce or how about some crispy bacon?

What type of cheese do you use in the air fryer low carb garlic bread grilled cheese?

I used gruyere cheese which is a smooth melting swiss cheese. However you can use any cheese you prefer but make sure it is a cheese that can melt easily and give it some pull. Some other cheeses I would suggest are fontina, gouda, provolone and mozzarella to name a few.
