Tip: do not use that pumpkin pie filling for this recipe as it will likely contain sugar, make sure to use the pure pumpkin puree.

Recipe variations for pumpkin syrup

Pumpkin Spice Flavor: we prefer a more subtle pumpkin spice flavor, if you like it more intense feel free to add more pumpkin pie spice.

Frequently asked questions

How much of this sugar free pumpkin spice syrup should I add to my beverage?

It all depends on the size of your beverage and how sweet your want it to be. I would start with one tablespoon and see if it's to your liking. Then add more if you want like it sweeter.

Is this sugar-free pumpkin syrup safe for diabetics?

This syrup has 0 carbs but sweet syrups may still spike your blood sugars. I would recommend monitoring your blood sugars when you first use this syrup to see how it affects you personally as some people have no issues with syrups sweetened with erythritol and some do. It can also be enjoyed by anyone and those following a low carb and keto way of eating.

Why is it called pumpkin spice?

There is actually no pumpkin in pumpkin spice but it is often used to flavor pumpkin recipes which is why it's called pumpkin spice.
