Instructions
Use the multiplier above to adjust quantities based on your machine: 1X for Original 7 in 1 (16 ounces) and 1.5X for Deluxe (24 ounces).
Microwave sugar-free chocolate chips in 20–30 second intervals, stirring between each, until fully melted and smooth.
2 oz sugar free chocolate chips
Add the melted chocolate and all remaining ingredients (except hazelnuts) to a blender and blend on high for 30 seconds.
1.5 cups unsweetened vanilla almond milk,
2 tablespoon cream cheese,
2 tablespoon Cocoa Powder,
2.5 tablespoon low carb chocolate protein powder,
¼ teaspoon espresso powder,
⅛ teaspoon salt,
½ teaspoon hazelnut extract,
¼ teaspoon guar gum
Pour the mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container and freeze for 24 hours.
Roast hazelnuts in a dry skillet over medium heat until fragrant, then set aside to cool (optional: remove skins).
¼ cup roasted hazelnuts
After 24 hours, place the pint in the Ninja Creami and run the “Lite Ice Cream” cycle.
Run the “Re-Spin” cycle once for an extra creamy texture.
Chop the roasted hazelnuts and fold them into the ice cream.
Optional: drizzle with extra melted sugar-free chocolate and enjoy!
Notes
For an extra smooth texture, leave the pint on the counter for 5–10 minutes before spinning.
To peel the hazelnuts, rub them in a clean kitchen towel while they’re still warm the skins will flake right off.
Swap:
Use chopped pecans or almonds if you’re out of hazelnuts.
Swap:
Use almond extract instead of hazelnut for a chocolate almond twist.
Variation:
Try a vanilla protein powder for a milder chocolate-hazelnut combo.
