Trim the green beans and toss them in a bowl with olive oil, salt, and black pepper until coated evenly.
1 lb fresh green beans, 2 tablespoon olive oil, ¼ teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Spread the seasoned green beans on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake at 425°F (220°C) for 12 minutes until tender and slightly crispy.
Once out of the oven, sprinkle the green beans with garlic powder and half of the grated Parmesan cheese. Toss directly on the sheet pan.
