Ingredients

Instructions

  • Mix together all the ingredients except the pecans and carrots in a blender on high for 1 minute.
1 cup unsweetened almond milk, 2.5 tablespoon low carb vanilla protein powder, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, ¼ tablespoon brown sweetener, 1 oz cream cheese, ½ teaspoon cinnamon, ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg, ¼ teaspoon Ground Ginger
  • Pour the mixture into a ninja creami pint, place the lid on and freeze for 24 hours.
  • After 24 hours remove the pint from the freezer, remove the lid and place the pint into the ninja creami outter container with the blade lid locked in place. Place and lock into the ninja creami machine and use the smoothie or lite ice function.
  • When it completes running the cycle remove it from the machine. Create a well down the center for the ice cream with a butter knife. Add the pecans and carrots down the center of the well and place it back in the machine and use the "mix in" button.
1 tablespoon chopped pecans, 1 tablespoon shredded carrots
  • Once the cycle is complete it will be ready for serving.

Notes

  • Blend the ingredients thoroughly: To create smooth and creamy ice cream, it's important to blend the ingredients thoroughly before transferring to the ninja creami pint.
  • Chill the mixture before freezing: for a more flavorful ice cream, once you've blended the ingredients together and placed it in the ninja creami pint, chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least an hour before freezing.
